Alison Doody

Alison Doody is a Dublin native who was born into wealthy family members in Dublin In Ireland, in the year 1966. She is the youngest child of three. While in a convent, she discovered an obsession with arts. In the following years, she returned to the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin. However, because of a lack of determination, she decided that she required to rest, and decided to give her ten months. As she sat in a restaurant with friends when she was approached by a photographer in a still mode who asked her if she would be interested to model. In the hopes that she would earn some money through modeling, she agreed. Soon after, she realized modeling to be rewarding and entertaining. Modeling agreements led to commercials, and she travelled the globe. A casting director saw her work and recommended she consider acting instead. When she was 19, a casting director sent her to London and she was able to win an audition for the role of A View to a Kill the newest James Bond film. She so loved acting that she considered pursuing a career the same direction. Her first film was followed by a series of TV dramas that were shot in London as well as Dublin. Her breakthrough came in 1989 as she played her role as the Aryan Seductress, Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Alison Alison Alison
