Dina Meyer was raised and born within Forest Hills Queens New York. Before she finished junior high, she moved to Queens into Dix Hills Long Island. Her siblings include two younger ones and a brother who is older. At the age of 9 until 16, she began working in the industry of entertainment through acting. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. The other actors who received such training are Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, among other actors. Her first performance came from Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out into Los Angeles. The role was as the leading lady in Johnny Mnemonic in which she did almost every stunt by herself. She also established her skills as an actor. The talent agent she worked with also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able to get a regular role on Friends.
